Yes but the Lakers themselves arent the best, so they would like to avoid playing the best, increasing their chances of winning, cause let's face it, LBJ is gonna destroy the Lakers and their fans.

um, pretty sure thats why PLAYOFFS happen in sports, so championships come down to the two best teams...or maybe im missing something?
