Similar deal with Spidey. That's just a convenient way of moving on from a crossover that has no future anyways. If Batman can work with Robin, and in JLA, he can be buddies with Marvel characters. It just doesn't have any longterm endgame, so it's avoided.

It would be great if Stark and Wayne built eachother special suits that they DIDN'T use in the crossover. This way, both companies could use them once down the road, and it would be a nice suprise.

It would be like playing Secret Friend. You build me a suit, ill build you one too.
I would imagine Stark and Wayne would be extremely paranoid of one another. Stark would think that Bruce is a guy that is always on the edge and Wayne would think Stark is too reckless to have so much power.
Totally would keep giant files, analysis', etc on one another.
