This game is now my game of the year 2010.

Unless CoD: Black Ops does something that 98% of people agree is good for the game, but fucks with snipers. That would be AWESOME.

Has anyone else tried playing online and had server issues? My cousin had his copy over and Ive been trying to get online all night and all this morning but every time I try it tries for like 30 seconds and pops up a note saying that the server is down please try again later.

I have Inadequacys copy of UFC 2009 sitting on my bookshelve. I played through it and like I said UFC 2010 didnt feel any different to me which is what my opinion was based off.

You know those little activities you could do to boost your cred in career mode last year? Well this year, you actually DO the events. If you're schedulded to attend a fight card, you actually have the option of watching the fights, and you also predict who will win each fight, how, and what round. The more you pick right, the more cred you get.

CSL - each of those bits of my post are my opinion, if you can't understand that I'm sorry.

Narc - See my reply to what CSL said, in my opinion it played just like 2009. Its my opinion, not influenced by reviews but by my experience playing a match during the game.

I didn't find it to be much different and definitely not worth the $70 price for the slight difference there msy be. If you guys like the game and feel it was worth the money, that's great. I however do not think its worth the cost and that's my opinion.

But... it doesn't play like '09. It may remind you of '09 (which has probably more to do your misunderstanding of how sports games progress annually than however the game plays).

the whole decaying of stats over time seriously pisses me off. I spent all this time and points on getting my guy's striking to 100 and then it just randomly decreases and i have to spend 20 points per attribute to get it back.

I'm going to agree with you completely here because I think you are right. I have never been a person who buys sports games every year when they come out because I always found it not worth the $70 for the few new players and tweaks since the previous edition (graphics do not make a game, so I don't count them)

So having said that perhaps it,influenced my premature judgment that this game is exactly like its predecessor, just after that match, nothing felt different at all to me hence what I posted.

Ditto once I've created a fighter at some point over the next few days.

Also, Shaq is a pain in the arse to fight strictly because of his size and the fact that he swarms you with punches. Probably doesn't help that I was fighting him with Roy Nelson's stumpy little arms but still.

I'm liking this.

The changes to camps are a big plus for me and career mode just seems to flow a lot better. Stat decay is annoying though.

hey, is anyone having connection issues when playing ranked? I get in a game, but like out of 10 games ive played, d/c happens in 8 of 'em. Its not rage quitting i dont think, because there have been times where the guy was in a dominant position, or we were both actively engaged.

Picked this up today and loving it, has some nice tweaks from last year. Saying that, not liking what they have done to career mode, its almost like there is now too many training options to take part in and have lots a shite load of stat points without realising so my fighter is abit shit, currently 2-2-0
