But with all respect to Carwin, Carwin does had the better punching power so that's probably the biggest reason he got the KO quicker.

Carwin is a more diverse fighter than Lesnar but don't make too much about Carwin's stand up it's stiff and measured just like Lesnar's. The reason he gets the edge there is because of the marginal skill advantage and the power advantage.

What I keep thinking of was how easily Gonzaga was able to get the fight to the ground against Carwin. Carwin was able to get back up in short order but if Lesnar puts Carwin on the deck (and based on the ease Gonzaga did it I think he will) I don't know if he could get back to his feet without taking damage. And if Carwin is on the ground I seriously doubt he's so good off his back that he can submit Lesnar.

The real x-factor is cardio. Lesnar looked fine after going 3 round with Heath Herring but how much did his near fatal illness take out of him? Know one knows. As for Carwin he's never needed a second round so who knows how his cardio will hold up or even how his psyche will hold up going to a second round? Sure he works with a good camp for cardio but theirs a diffrence between cardio in the gym and cardio in the cage. If I had to guess Carwin probably has the cardio advantage just because of Lesnars illness.

It'll be a good fight. I'm picking Lesnar to win but I wouldn't be shocked at all if Carwin knocked him out. Everyone's reasons for picking Carwin make total sense, I just see it going a different way.

If Lesnar loses I'll be the first to admit I was wrong.

both dominated just the same. Time doesnt fucking matter.

that said, carwins fight should have been called about 30 seconds sooner

Would be extremely interesting if this fight went 5 rounds. I'm not sure either one of them has the cardio for such a long fight. I've been wrong before though.

If Carwin can't beat Brock, I don't really understand how Cain is supposed to. I know Cain has good stand up but he can't hit anywhere near like Carwin can and I know his wrestling is good but so is Brock's (and Brock has a massive power and size advantage) so I just see him getting taken down and pounded/choked out. Only way I think he can win is by basically 'outlasting' Brock but I think he'll have been put away before that can happen.

Brock's legs are the leanest part of his body and can be used as a target. The problem is just getting enough damage in before he realizes your game plan, adjusts accordingly, and hulk smashed your face off.

I think that Cain has more strength than people are giving him credit for in this fight, but I just think that Brock is going to be way too much for him. If he can avoid the takedown, then he'll have a hell of a chance. But Brock is the better wrestler, has more size, and has more strength. If Cain is going to do this, he's going to have to somehow get it to a 3rd or 4th round when (assumingly) Brock will be gassed out. That's also assuming that Cains gas tank will allow him to still be rather fresh in the later rounds as well.
