The other day I was walking and singing Macho Man's theme song and somebody asked me "did you reciently attend a graduation?" Personally, I think that the WWE should use more public domain songs as themes. Imagine Batista, scowling and covered in tattoos, walking to the ring to "the bridal march"

You have no idea what a bootleg theme is do you?

I think TNA can use the WCW version of Raven's theme now that Jimmy Hart is in TNA.

It's cuz these are what they consider production themes which aren't created by the WWE. I've heard several of them used in sports hilights and commercials that's why it's so easy to find high quality versions of them. hHe most recent one I can think of as a prime example is Drew McIntyre's previous one they just slapped that on him until they found something else more suitable.

Well, I'm aware that they've been used in the "public domain" or w/etf you call it forever, I was more just curious to have my memory refreshed as to where I'd heard them from...there's one other I know I've heard a million times before it was used in WWE, too...

Well, Purg, you make a good point, except those were both done by WWE in-house, presumably by the one and only Jim Johnston, so I dunno if I'd really call Christian's new version of Just Close Your Eyes (Story of The Year version, as opposed to the 2005 cut by Waterproof Blonde), a "bootleg" theme, per se.
