Got this review of the latest observer audio update from another message board:

Reiterated that the Roberts spot was deemed too violent and it led to the firing, in a call made by Vince, but forced upon him by an "outside force who is important"

Complaints came in very quickly.

Decision was explained to the merchandise and marketing people, PR team, company doctor before it was announced that it was a legit firing

Person who complained was someone from the "outside, important to the company"

Danielson was a "scapegoat"

No timetable has been given, but he was said to be left with the impression that he would be welcomed back at a later time.

Danielson now looking for indy dates.

Danielson has a 90 day no-compete clause.

With respect to the possibility of Vince working his own employees, Meltzer believes he's capable of it, and a much more "insane" situation is currently going on with a much bigger name than Danielson in WWE just now.

Sources in WWE believe they will lose him to TNA, claiming they have just "made a TNA main eventer"

Have to say I havn't picked up raw or smackdown in a couple years, but I have Watched the occasional PPV.

Now though, things are getting so ridiculous, that I don't think I'll even do that. And it's not because of them firing Bryan Danielson, but because it's just getting softer and softer, and more boring to watch.

Despite it being way more serious, I think this is the biggest "WTF?" reaction we've had out of wrestling-related news since Benoit

The reaction is also similar too (though again, less serious)...thinking it's a work at first...come up with theories...and then the slow realization of what actually happened.

I am seriously at a loss for fucking words. I am not a die hard ROH fan, but this guy is the best there is right now.

This is like Shawn Michaels leaving WWF in the mid nighties and not coming back.

Sure they say the door is open, but Danielson is a hard headed mother fucker who isn't going to take shit from anybody. So who knows if he will even want to work there again.

Also, I think Danielson would be stupid to go to TNA in its current form. If it were a couple years ago, maybe, but I think he'd be worse off in TNA than he would be in WWE if all he had to do was let things cool off for a couple months. With WWE currently, the newer guys are getting shots now and probably will continue to for the foreseeable future. In TNA he'll get burried behind the old guys and probably not even get on TV half the time.

It still just baffles me that they would fire him for this. I can understand a sponsor being upset and maybe suspending/fining the guy for breaking a rule...but taking his job away completely? For one infraction?

Whatever, I'm going to continue on as though this is real...and hope to hell I get surprised later.

This is pretty ridiculous. I'm still not entirely sure it's not a work. But even then, it doesn't make perfect sense. Why would Bryan Danielson be fired and no one else? We haven't heard anything from Bryan yet, so who knows? All is not lost, though. Right now, Danielson overshadows the other guys in "The Network," a bit. They have something to whinge about if Danielson is gone, and he can return down the line kicking heads in. He can also show his loyalty to the WWE and pretty much ensure a few bones thrown his way when he does re-sign.

But Bryan Danielson in TNA is a pretty intense idea, too. Danielson vs. RVD? Danielson vs. Angle? I'd watch.

The list goes on. Something still just feels really fishy here. I'm more convinced he's been fired solely because EVERY single source is saying he's gone, but I still wouldn't be fully shocked if he showed up on Raw (not to say I wouldn't mark the fuck out)

I'm not one of those guys who has sucked Danielson's dick for years, the first time I ever saw him was his NXT debut, but he clearly has world class talent in the ring and can handle his own on the mic/play a character and has grown into one of my favorites. If this is true this is possibly the dumbest most stupid thing the company has ever done and the reasoning behind had just made me less interested in wrestling to the point that I may never be more than a fan is passing.

If this is a work, I bow down to you Vince McMahon and will never question you again.

I'm not saying it make sense, but I guarnte this is the thinking.

Kids at home don't have straps, don't have spotlights, don't have handcuffs( I'm sure there will be jokes here), but every household has ties and belts.
