I was really cheering on Ghana, saw nothing wrong with Africa supporting them and the commentators going on about it.

Honestly people take what commentators/media say so personally, its ridiculous.

I dislike it because of the condescending and patronising attitude they still display towards Africa as a whole. The amount they talked about Ghana being there as if they were some pub team who'd made it to the FA Cup quarters was ridiculous.

And let's face it, Chile aren't going to cheer on Argentina are they? France won't be cheering for Holland. It's BS.

Africa's different though to S.America/Europe. I can understand their mindset. I do agree wiht you though about the commentators opinions on Ghana, one comment that did annoy me actually was when ghana played USA, the commentator said 'its men(US) v Boys(Ghana)' when Ghana looked more dominant and bigger than the US overall?
