If it were up to me, honestly, I'd only do six to eight PPVs a year, with specials like Saturday Night's Main Event and Night of Champions between.
Here's how I'd set that up... January - Royal Rumble February - Fully Loaded - Random non-themed PPV March - SNME April (or very late March) - WrestleMania May - Backlash - Fallout from Mania June - King of the Ring USA Special - Winner gets a shot at their brand's champion at SummerSlam. July - Money in the Bank August - SummerSlam September - Night of Champions USA Special - RAW only October - Survivor Series - Bragging Rights concept with an established name November - Night of Champions USA Special - SD only December - Elimination Chamber Yes, I moved Survivor Series to October. I did that because I needed something to break up the huge PPV chain that would go from November to May. But I think this would bring WWE a lot more buys (since there are less shows to buy), keep things unpredictable and make the PPVs more special. |
