The Yankees needed to add a better bullpen arm than Kerry Wood but maybe he'll pan out. Change of scenery or whatever.

I would have liked adding a utility infielder. Ramiro Pena has been garbage this year.

Berkman is a nice fit for the price. I think he'll thrive in that lineup. I like the Kearns pick up to. Yankee bench is horrible this year.

I agree. But, I can't blame them. From what I heard the Yankees went above and beyond trying to get Soria. They were giving Kansas a Montero package for him. But the Royals said no. They tried to get Downs but Downs was asking for to much as well. Now, why Kansas didn't take the Montero package for Soria is beyond me.

I'm not a fan of switching Swisher to 6th and Berkman 2nd, Swisher was killing it in the 2 hole.
