Don't agree with that at all. Bret had all the wrestling talent in the world. In his prime he was arguably the best in the business only to be faced against Curt Hennig in that caregory. Bret may not of had the best mic skills (pretty good when heel) but he made up for it with what he did in the ring.

Anyways someone who did something with nothing. I'll have to say Ultimate Warrior. His wrestling skill was horrible and he botched all the time. He sucked on the mic and his promos never made any sense. Only reason he got the title was because he was from the era where the big men ruled the ring. If you had a great physique you were golden. If he had just started today he wouldn't make it anywhere.
