At this point Duke Nukem Forever has no hope of ever being decent or living up to any hype but some interesting news coming out is Gearbox Software rumored to be developing the game now.

Gearbox Software past games include Brothers in Arm series and Borderlands.

A limited edition of the new GoldenEye game has been announced by Activision with a neat and potentially useful pack-in. Rather than include something that can't be used with the game and will just sit on a shelf collecting dust, the Classic Edition of the game will include a customized, gold-colored Classic Controller Pro. "In addition to the Wii Remote and Nunchuk, GoldenEye will also support the Wii Zapper for 'point and shoot' gamers, giving players several ways to experience GoldenEye on Wii," said Activision's David Pokress. "We also couldn't pass up the opportunity to pay homage to the golden gun with the gold Classic Controller Pro, which looks cool and also gives shooter fans a familiar control scheme to use as they blast their way through the game."
Nice as it is, it seems like it would have made more sense to include a Wii Zapper or some sort of gun attachment in the color gold to pay homage to the golden gun used by Francisco Scaramanga in The Man with the Golden Gun. Y'know, what with it being a gun. Still, for most people, the Classic Controller Pro will be of more use, making it the more desirable accessory.
No price has been announced as of yet for the Classic Edition, but the game itself is still on track for release this November.

Actually looks kinda tacky. Basic black will do.

My bro got a Wii for his kid so I'm gonna lobby for TvC and Red Steel 2, and get myself a Pro Controller. Also, Motion+ is pretty awesome.

No game is worth the type of wait this game went through. Its assests would have to be reconstructed to meet today's standards, and that may or may not turn out well (Perfect Dark Zero). It's not about counting on Duke for me. He's not real, he's not making the game. It's not counting on the devs who found pleasure in releasing one promotional shot every three years and expecting the population to cum over it. I stopped caring years ago. Some interest returned after the 'proposed' gameplay vid, but it wasn't anything worth the years in development Hell.
