Destro is a fucking tard.

Anyways, best example in any fed that I can think of is Hogan vs Sting at Starcade 97. It's not the WWE, but it's crazy that Bischoff was able to hold off on this match for so long.

Wouldn't Sabu vs. Taz from Barely Legal count as well?

Albeit it isn't WWE. Can't really think...

well what about Taker vs. Shawn... their first one on one match was at a PPV... In Your House: Ground Zero.
