It was weak because of the beatdown on monday and jobbing to Tarver.

Dude, no. First of all, Tarver rolled the guy up. Secondly, Danielson had the upper hand until the numbers game caught up to him. Going down to three guys isn't exactly looking weak.

Its a natural storyline progression, the guy isn't God or anything...he can get beaten down.

And I liked the way he came back, they made him look like a star at Summerslam, and have probably set him up to take the US Title at NOC.
