Shawn Michaels - DX & made Stone Cold a star
Triple H - DX and led the WWF when Austin/Taker were gone and eventually when Rock went Hollywood.
Kevin Nash - nWo
Scott Hall - nWo
X-Pac- Made Shane McMahon a star
Justin Credible - everybody has that "one friend" you are nice to because he is slightly retarded.

1. Austin made Austin a star. Right place, right time, right gimmick, right adversary in Vince McMahon. That and some of the WCW audience was already starting to get a tad bit bored with what was on Nitro.

2. The guy has ridden so many coattails, it's not even funny. Not to mention the time he was on top was during some of the worst programming the WWE had seen since 1995.

3. Yes, see but the nWo came in after a time when business was already turning around for WCW. And how old did that get?

4. See above and add in the fact that Hall was essentially gone sometime after 1999.

5. You're kidding me with this one, right? You're praising the fact that SHANE MCMAHON became a star?

6. Maybe he'll introduce an Attitude Era to Olive Garden.

Anywho, to put the rise of the Attitude on the shoulders of just one thing is kind of ridiculous. Everything from Nitro's rise, to the nWo, to Austin's anti-hero character, Bret being screwed, McMahon borrowing some of ECW's ideas, the Corporation, and just flat-out being just the right time were all components. And, once again, the Attitude Era was not all sugar and rainbows.
