Apparently the rest of the roster is meant to be revealed this week. It's also being said that one of the legends is a WCW guy. Since Goldberg has been ruled out, my hope is DDP. But more likely it will be somebody who is in the WWE Hall of Fame but has more noteworthy moments as part of WCW (like Steamboat).

Knowing that 2 of the ? spots are NPC, and not counting anybody DLC - the game ships with 65 playable characters, ie NOT "over 70 playable superstars". But when you factor in anybody that can be obtained via DLC (Bret, Masters, Layla, Bulldog, Luger, Barrett, Otunga, Gabriel) that number jumps up to 73. Plus it's said there will be a 3rd DLC pack so assuming there are more playable characters on it the number will jump up even higher.

So basically it's only over 70 if you are willing and/or able to shell out for the DLC. Just another example of THQ saying something about the roster total only for there to be a catch. At least it's not as bad as SVR08 where for months they said that there would be 75 characters in the game knowing full well what people would expect and then when the reveal came along they were like "we said 75 characters! not 75 playable characters!" and it was one of the worst playable rosters in recent history.
