I stopped watching regularly when RAW lost its focal point storylines, putting more emphasis on one-off feuds featuring John Cena, Edge, Batista and Triple H. I stopped when they got rid of the profanity and the adult content, because I'm an adult, and I'm not much entertained by bland, development and layer-lacking storylines featuring guys who hang out with a midget (because it's "funny") and tell terrible jokes for a quarter of the 2-hour show I used to love. A show where the main good guy comes out every night and cuts the most white-fish, cookie-cutter Uber-Super Good Guy promos and even though he used to be booed relentlessly by a large part of the crowd at every fucking show, they STILL kept pushing him. I stopped watching because the WWE doesn't change or evolve their main character at all. I stopped watching when they got rid of the Cruiserweight title in favor of more Great Khali and Mark Henry and fucking Big Daddy V.
I stopped watching the WWE when they became cheap piece of shit whores, putting more emphasis on boring characters who relate to little kids who will bug Mom and Dad to buy them a fucking spinner John Cena WWE Title belt, over well-written, long-term, evolution and character development based storylines. |
