I suggested doing it under the Armchair Booker account to Vito. He agreed. I've pm'd AbT, so gonna give him a chance to reply.

Wanted to get agreement from all 4 bookers that have bothered to send their PPVs in. That's 3 out of 4.

People don't realize the importance of deadlines. It's not a coincidence that the first two weeks got really big reader/voter turnout and then the next week there was a huge drop because the show came out later than planned.

Deadlines don't just keep it a level playing field, it gives the reader a steady and dependable stream of content.

I doubt there will even be enough interest to start a Season Two after this. It's a shame because this could have been a game that lasted a long time.

I get the impression we're awaiting on scores from judges more than waiting for Jeritron to get his show in. I don't know for sure cos AbT has seemingly gone AWOL. Either way Jeritron should be disqualified or something.

We have agreement from me, you and DttS that we should post under the communal account. Waiting on a reply from The Show Off who I PM'd the other day.

IF there is a Season 2 and IF I run it, I'll be running a 2 strikes and out rule, miss the deadline twice and your show gets canceled or passed to a reserve booker (if we can even find more than 5 people to take part).

I'd guess it's

1st = 5 points
2nd = 4 points
3rd = 3 points
and so on.

So if TIW got 3 x 1st, 5 x 2nd, 1 x 4th and 1x 5th it'd get a total of 33 points for the week. I think the poll winner got 5 bonus points.

If you send me the first week's votes I'll be able to confirm that using three totals for week 1.

Tonight at midnight (US time) we are 2 weeks past deadline. And so, as Anybody Thrilla seems to have vanished, I have put the wheels in motion to get this posted tomorrow (Thursday).

I have 2 shows (including my own) ready to go. Just waiting on the other 2 shows and one of the judges to hook me up with the rankings of the 8 judes that bothered to vote.

People might see this as me "taking over" (and I guess I am) but I really don't see these shows going out otherwise. I think the work of the bookers needs to be showcased, we have all put a lot of effort into writing the 4 shows leading to this and I for one am not willing to let that effort go to waste.

Apologies to AbT, but I'm picking up a "dropped ball".

Hope everyone understands (even appreciates) why I've taken this route.

K, so I have "all" 4 shows and the scores done. The only thing stopping us from posting is a sense of guilt for "stealing the game" from AbT. He hasn't been on TPWW since the 14th, maybe something major happened with him? Anyone have any ideas?

As for the 5th show, I have been told the reason why it hasn't been sent in but I won't disclose it at as it hasn't been made public. The missing show is the lowest ranked one of the 5, so I don't think we're costing the booker a "Shot at Glory" or whatever. Not sure if that sways opinion or not.

So, it's the "Pang of Guilt" verses the "Fear of the shows not going out as it's been a month since Week 4 was posted/2 weeks passed deadline". Anyone feel like reassuring me that I'm making the right decision in posting the thing?
