The DA was clear that he believed something had happened, problem was they didn't have enough to get a conviction. If this was the first time, he'd get the benefit of the doubt. When you're a grown man in a college town courousing for pussy, and you're body guard is reported to have blocked off the bathroom, that seems a bit suspicious. You'd think someone who already had a case brought against them for something similar would be a bit smarter than that. It's become a pattern of behaviour for Ben, and that's hard to overlook.

The DA was just trolling for fame for himself while dragging Ben's name through the mud as much as possible. Anyone who wasn't famous and got accused of the exact same thing would have had the police investigate fully before any name was brought to the public.
