The DA was clear that he believed something had happened, problem was they didn't have enough to get a conviction. If this was the first time, he'd get the benefit of the doubt. When you're a grown man in a college town courousing for pussy, and you're body guard is reported to have blocked off the bathroom, that seems a bit suspicious. You'd think someone who already had a case brought against them for something similar would be a bit smarter than that. It's become a pattern of behaviour for Ben, and that's hard to overlook.

Besides, winning is a team sport. The Steelers have been a better team than the Chargers for a long time. That doesn't mean Ben is any good. Are you going to tell me that Roethlisberger is a better QB than Peyton Manning because of postseason success?

Let's be honest for a minute. Before this past offseason, there were LOTS more people saying Ben was top 5. After the allegations (and that's all they are), suddenly people would rather cheer for MICHAEL "CONVICTED FELON" VICK than Ben. I just don't get it.

Do I agree with Ben's lifestyle? No. Does it affect me in my everyday life? No. Does it change what he does on the field? No.

Injuries are going to be what make the Colts struggle this season. When they're on, they've been on. Injuries have been throwing a wrench in it at every turn though. Worried about the season long-term if they keep piling up.

I think its funny that Favre could get suspended for the cell phone thing and it'll end his consecutive games streak (which likely wont be his for long anyway with Peyton Manning not that far back of him), end his hopes of winning another Super Bowl (since the Vikings have no shot at making the playoffs without him) and end his career (why would he come back after the suspension to play for nothing, and who would have him for next season?) and he's going to lose all of his endorsements for after his career was over.

If you think about it, he was on the Madden Cover the year he sent the cell phone pics, so this seems like the ultimate Madden Cover Jinx.
