TNA signs Katie Lea Burchill
From PWInsider:

TNA has signed the former Katie Lea Burchill to a deal.

The former WWE Diva had a tryout match for the company in August. She had been released from WWE in April 2010 after a four year run through developmental, ECW and Raw.

She did an interview in last month's PowerSlam magazine over here in the UK where she said she had had a couple "tryout" matches but hadn't heard back from them. Good for her.

I hope they sign Paul Burchill too (I know there not really related but still). I was reminded of him when Morrison hit the C4. He could have a gimmick like Rob Terry as a big tough brittish man, but Paul can actually wrestle. He looked like he was getting bigger before he left, or maybe his trunks started getting smaller.




Side note, yes I think Katie was a great addition to the growing womens division (I know I got off subject)

She's actually a pretty solid women's worker, so good for them.

I've always had a thing for Katie Lea. I think she's a great signing. Now if they only hired Cheerleader Melissa and Awesome Kong back, and stopped booking their women all over the place.

Paul Birchall would also make a good signing for TNA. The guy can work, and he's only 31. I'd love to see him get a run with the X-Division Title.
