Amazing how the Giants could never win with one of the best hitters of all time on their roster, but are going to the World Series built around pitching and small ball.

Everyone of their players(not pitchers) is a cast off.

That's even more amazing. It doesn't really make any sense.

Same thing with the Rangers, when they had Juan Gonzalez, Pudge Rodriguez, AROD, Palmeiro, etc. A lot of hitting, but no pitching and no small ball. It was said they couldn't win because of their ballpark, but they're playing in the same ballpark they did in the 90's and they are winning.

It's awesome, for both teams.

Yeah, but the Rangers made it because of their hitting (and Cliff Lee). Giants completely remodeled their team philosophy.
