Mason Fucking Ryan. Shit has hit the fan.

Nah not really, I was hoping he was going to be something different when he hit the ring, as in leaving Punk and Cena laying and being his own man, but joining Nexus will be ok I guess.

Eh, to each their own I guess, but I really don't mind it. It's not like the complete shot/downward spiral was going to end things anyway, so it makes sense to transition right into another move. It's really no different than simply picking the guy up and doing another move.

I mean, out of curiosity, does it bother you when Cena does the STF after the FU? Or when Jericho used to do the lion tamer out of a power bomb?

Yeah but plenty of other guys, even in WWE use 'lesser' moves than a downward spiral as a finish. The move alone could get a reaction. It's just so unnecessary.

And it's a bit different if it's a guys finish, the FU and Jericho's powerbomb were/are established moves on their own.

Batista with the Rock Bottom!

Also, I really hated Punk's new chest tattoos when he first got them. Since last we saw him with his shirt off, he seems to have added more color/definition to them. Makes them slightly better.

lol i thought that was batista too..i wonder if they are expanding the rumble to bring more power to a Del Rio rumble victory. people would easily say "well people HAVE won this rumble before" but now he can go on and say it really is his destiny, seeing as how he beat thirty nine others to win the rumble, or something like that. also, just curious..tonight they said the rumble started in 88..and that there have been 24 winners of the royal rumble. so wouldnt that make this 2013? can someone help me figure out why those two stats dont make sense? thanks

I like bringing in new stars, but I don't like bringing them at the end of the show when they look like Batista and confuse me.

Especially when 99 percent of the live audience doesn't know who it is.

No, it only happened once. There have been 24 winners and this year's will be the 25th. To figure it out, list the years 1988-2010 and count.

The numbers don't match up because you are not counting people who have won more than once.

Oh yeah, logically. But the viewership doesn't change that much. I don't think, anyway. Unless they are going up against a sports game, which won't be the case next week.

I prefer to wait for "why did _______ do that?" Instead of the "Who the hell was that guy?"

Explain the whole "624 superstars have entered." Because there haven't been 624 different people in the Rumble. Were there years where they'd have 17 participants? Or are people who might be beaten up while walking to the ring/backstage just not counted?

The "624 superstars have entered" comes pretty close to the amount of participants over the years. I come up with around 650 assuming one Rumble having 20 and the rest 30.
