Well, I doubt Hulk Hogan will ever come back to the ring to wrestle again, because of the seriousness of his back surgeries.

Not exactly. Quite often in business the connected skyrocket to the top, while the very best workers often times work themselves into a lockdown. I'm not going to get involved with your argument about whether Hogan is a good guy or bad guy, to be honest I have my opinion of him and I'm sticking with it, but this is something I've wondered about before, and it's pretty simple to be honest.

Let's take Alex Shelley for example, he dislikes Hogan, he feels he's being held back, and so he says this in the public, maybe on the radio, on a website, interview etc. Do you honestly think this will benefit his career? It's sad that this is how the world works but I'm fairly certain Hogan has a lot more pull in TNA than someone like Alex Shelley, and all it takes is for Hogan is hear something like this and for him to have words with Dixie Carter.

I could be wrong, maybe all the wrestlers who say nice things about Hogan are being genuine, but it's is really unrealistic to think they could also be covering their own asses?

I never liked Hogan as a kid or as i got older but Hulk deserved his run on top, he was the face of the industry, and politics aside he was over like noone else at the time. And i agree with Gertner, if he can convince someone to pay him a huge amount why shouldnt he take it? I'd prefer he retired but i don't think he'll ever go away.

I didn't enjoy Hogan until the nWo, might have had something to do with being raised with WCW Saturday TV rather than WWF, but even when he jumped ship, I always found him to be a bit bland. But I even hated cookie-cutter good guys in cartoons.

He was the fucking man during the early part of the nWo though and now he's in TNA, he's not on my screen so I can't comment.

I appreciate what he did for the business but his time is long passed. He was out of steam at WM 9, got lucky with the nWo deal for a period of time, and then WWF fans wanting one last nostalgia run. He should have stepped aside after his WM match with The Rock. But yeah, im not a fan of seeing him taking TV time present day. Maybe like periodically on WWE TV every once in a great while, but nowhere near an every week focal point.

Actually, without all the swearing, ooTin does make a point which kind of relates to my hatred for Hulk Hogan. Wrestling is scripted which is why it bothers me Hogan has such a big thing about jobbing.
