This is what I would do...

I am a fan of The Rock vs Cena announced a year ahead, it's gonna get a big pay off eventually... I think WWE should start to book a little more in advance... like UFC. Why not book a match for next months card, let it build up for two months and get the big pay off after a good long story. In the mean time you have other big feuds and programs going the current PPV...

Usually only one World Title would get defended, the other champion either won't wrestle or will but in a non title match. Sometimes super matches could also be main events for PPV's like Randy Orton vs CM Punk or Triple H vs The Undertaker.

Immediate results could be stagnant but after a while of good writing the audience would get hooked and involved in the storylines over longer periods of time probably raising WWE's PPV buys because the matches on the PPV's are more special than years past.

WWE is really fucking good right now otherwise.
