Done with story mode. The bosses are cheap as fuck. Can't be thrown and are invincible during special move animations. Fuck that, it stopped it being fun.

Developers should take notes on MK's online suite. Like SSF4 and BBCS, there's some standards set that I won't be happy seeing absent in other fighting games. Good job, NetherRealm.

Yeah, but a staple of the franchise was also every single fighter having the same basic moves and they got past that.

Finished the story, they're all retarded. Depending on the boss, it's either spam projectiles or jump in-punch uppercut and repeat. Cheap if you play properly, but retarded.

If you enjoy the MK mythology, you'll love it. I mean the reboot is even in the original canon which is kinda cool and there's noload times at all.

If you don't though, the cutscenes are lonnnnnnngggg and unskippable.

Also, no fatalities.

Are we talking 45 minute long, unskippable cutscenes after 3 hours of no save points, followed immediately by a crazy hard boss battle? Because that's Star Ocean territory right there.

Nah, it saves after every fight and I think the longest was probably around 15 mins.

Apparently the Xbox 360 was meant to have an exclusive character once the studio managed to get Kratos for the PS3 but for some strange reason they were not able to decide on who to pick or get the permission needed.

They also felt that unlike the PS3 version, the Xbox 360 version was strong enough to sell on its own and didn't need the help. This was before they realized the extra character for the PS3 was a huge deal and the Xbox 360 really did need some sort of exclusive stuff to keep its sales.
