I like his style. He gets excited, but doesn't go over the top. He's been in the ring, so he knows the name of the moves and has some sort of psychological understanding of what's going on.
I also like that he play's a nice counter to Cole. When King is there, Cole runs amok. Matthews does a nice job of evening things out, as he has more to say and is more objective than Cole. |

he doesn't have a great broadcasting voice, but he can do it just fine.
yes, and i like that he's aggressively objective. he kinda forces cole to back up his douche character with some thought instead of letting him just spout off uncontested. this hasn't ended any thread ever. not sure why you're still doing it. |

Personally I think he's a great balance of play-by-play and color commentary.
