My first Kindle just randomly died a few days ago after about 2 months of ownership. But, Amazon shipped me a new one free of charge that took about a day to get here.
Other than that, it's been good for me. |

Love the new e-ink Pearl display on the newer Kindles. But again, it depends on what you want an e-reader for. Amazon and Sony do e-ink, but if you want bells and whistles, you do have to look elsewhere. |
