It should have went to the next pay per view, with the next night CM Punk coming out (Or have him come out the same night Cena gets the belt). Certainly, this kind of booking only improves the shows. Gives them more excitement and shock value. Which honestly is a form of booking I never thought WWE could pull off again. With the pattern of improvement we've seen lately, I'm starting to think it can be done again. Also, having Punk return makes sense. Some think it's too early, which could be more mythodically built towards. However, fan interest in this is so high, anything Punk related is hot now.
