Read on Eventhubs that UMvC3 was going to have a longer dev time and have a total roster of 58 to beat MvC2.
Producers or some higher up said they wanted it out for Christmas so had to settle for 50 (48 on disc, 2 DLC in Jill and Shuma).

Maybe the other 8 will be DLC?
