If it's proven that the coaching staff, athletic department or school officials were aware of this, I'm all for giving Miami the "Death Penalty." Otherwise, I've always thought it was stupid to punish a current program for things done four years prior. Punishing USC for what Reggie Bush did is retarded.

The NCAA needs to get together with the NFL and NBA and come to some kind of agreement that would allow players found guilty of rule violations in college (like Reggie Bush) to be held responsible in terms of a fine or suspension once they go pro. Just like what the NFL did to Terrell Pryor. The same should apply for coaches (like Pete Carroll) and agents.

It would be no different than any other professional organization like the American Bar Association's relationship with law schools.
