This is pretty much what I expect.

And at Cell we'll probably get Nash/Someone vs Hunter/Punk.

I also see Ace somehow gaining control after Hunter goes out. They'll say he's technically second in command or some ridiculous shit.

These are things I do not want to see, mind you.

Either way Punk is eating a Pedigree. Could also see Nash Powerbombing Hunter after a Pedigree and pulling Punk onto Hunter. Thus, Punk wins, but he would have lost.

He's been the focal point of the number 1 storyline in the company for the past several months, and win or lose at NoC he still will be/ That won't change overnight. Well, until The Rock comes back I suppose, but even then whatever is going on with the whole Triple H/Punk/Nash/Steph/Laurinitis/Whoever story won't just be shoved to the background, it'll still be an important part of the show.

But what I'm saying is what happens AFTER that storyline? Sure, right now, he's in a decently high profile feud (no matter how badly booked it is). But what happens after that dies down? I certainly don't see him getting another title shot. Maybe a feud with a non-champion Del Rio? Maybe Miz? His future doesn't look good to me.

And I think I earned the right to be pessimistic. They completely pissed away Punk's hot streak. If you're going to sit there and tell me he's even half as hot right now as he was at MITB, you're crazy. He could still be white hot right now, but he's not. There's no excuse for that.

Probably a feud with Del Rio over the belt during Survivor Series time when Cena goes off to trade promos with The Rock. Then I don't know, let's just wait and see how it plays out?

I agree he's nowhere near as hot as he was a couple of months back, but my personal opinion on that is that it would be difficult to have him come back as a face and still keep that hot streak going. For me his anger in his earlier promos while he was still heel was what gave him that extra fire, as well as him going up against Cena, adding to the crowd dynamic at the PPV's and saying the things on live TV that people on the internet have been saying for years (there's only so many things he can bring up to be shocking before he runs out).

They definitely could have steamed Cena/Punk for longer, but whatever.

This HHH resigning if he loses stipulation, for me, has added the interest into this match that it was lacking without Punk going after/defending the WWE Title. Interested to see what happens.

He doesn't need to be the "shooter" to be white hot. Honestly, if they had kept the character (at its basics, someone who feels the industry needs to change for the better who is also in it for personal gain) going, toned down, they could have had AT LEAST one more PPV match with Cena. Their TV match showed me that they left a lot of money on the table. Also, during the time Cena and Punk were still going, Hunter could have been built up as this COO that does things for the good of the company and not gotten into any altercations. So when Hunter and Punk's match finally came around at, say, the build to Survivor Series, it would have been more believable.

Instead, they shoehorn Hunter into their match at SummerSlam, hotshot the title to Del Rio because they're touring Mexico and bring in Kevin fucking Nash for a feud with Punk.

Punk didn't need to be the champion, but he and Cena needed a rubber match on PPV to keep Punk's momentum going. If that happened, and at NOC had Cena win in some bullshit way, say what they did at SummerSlam but reversed (with Hunter as the ref), and then had Del Rio cash in on Cena, things would have been a lot better off. Then you'd have a logical reason for Cena vs. Del Rio and Punk would have legit heat with Hunter because he didn't officiate the match correctly.

It really only would have taken an extra month and no Kevin Nash to make this whole thing make sense and work well.

I can honestly see Nash siding with Punk and Laurenitis (or whatever the hell his name is), to gain control of the WWE.

To be honest, there are a few ways this can go, and I'll be watching to find out what happens. To me, thats good TV. Because 2 or so years ago, I couldn't give a shit about what happens 'next week' because they weren't doing anything leading into the following week, or raising any questions for the fans to think about until the next Raw.

Two weeks ago, there were people telling everyone to calm down and let this Punk/HHH develop before we pan it. Well how about now?

I don't know what's legit going on with Nash and his health, but the opening promo was absolutely painful to watch. I think you can officially lump Punk in with the Nexus angle as a beautiful thing that fans were into that the WWE absolutely pissed away.

I'm certainly not the only person to feel this way. Go to www.pwinsider.com and you'll see one of the more scathing reviews of a Raw that I've seen in a really long time.

The "shooter" stuff should definitely be toned down because the novelty of it is wearing off fast.

I thought Punk absolutely buried Nash on the mic the past couple of weeks to the point where I as a Nash fan was wishing he wasn't out there. He pretty much pissed all over the guy's legacy and accomplishments from the rip to the point where if you were a fan not familiar with Diesel, Nash, the NWO, etc... you sure as hell don't view him as a credible threat after. The comments about Hunter answering to Stephanie are also kind of played out at this point.

I think the notion that Nash sent the text to himself is a really shitty out, but I feel the finish to the Punk/HHH match can salvage the program and maybe give it new legs if done right.

I still think it's gonna come out that HHH or Steph sent the text. That it was only a cover up and a reason they could "fire" Nash. Nash gonna end up costing Punk the match at NOC. I hope it all leads to an elimination type match with Kliq vs Punk's Team at Survivor Series in November.

Not if Nash used his backstage pass earlier in the day, snuck into the office during a pre-production meeting, where no cell phones are allowed, sent it to his cell phone and then erased the outbox on HHH's phone so that he wouldn't notice someone sent a text from it

That story is so shitty and oversimplistic that I really hope Nash is covering for someone, preferably Vince.

The use of the word "stick" by Nash may be the best thing to come from his return.
