Sure there is.

Linkin Park are a moderately talented band geared to cash in on teen angst through middle-of the road songs, the same tunes 18 times, and thousands fo remixes.

Slipknot doesn't really have the chops for that, so they scream and cash in on teen agnst by being as violent as possible. It's kinda like 80s skinhead punk...The thought was that loud and talentless=cool.

So they're both money grubbing, shitty ass, pretend metal crapfactories that try to trick dumb, suicidal kids into buying their music. GOTCHYA.
