What CSL is saying about Hogan is true.

Except Hogan isn't a draw and isn't drawing people in on a permanent basis (and this can be backed up with ratings), and thus, no matter how great he is, no matter how much he can control a crowd, if he can't pull in any numbers, he's useless to a company like TNA.

That is what I said awhile ago. The two years he's been there, I have not seen anything go into the right direction for the company...

Bingo. This is what it ultimately comes down to. TNA has grown very little. You can say they are exactly the same but with "names," but if those names aren't making you any more money than you already were, but are costing money? That's a bad thing.
