Except Hogan isn't a draw and isn't drawing people in on a permanent basis (and this can be backed up with ratings), and thus, no matter how great he is, no matter how much he can control a crowd, if he can't pull in any numbers, he's useless to a company like TNA.

Well booking your own matches always works out for everyone doesn't it? Hogan's not the devil,he's a guy that can't let it go. He has deminished his leagacy and as much as he had done for the buisness..he's hurting it now. The problem is that him and the old Hulk Hogan fans that can't let it die. if Hulk sees a glimmer of light shining on him he thinks it's a solar flare.

he didn't book his own matches, he was offered creative control as an incentive to get him to sign in the first place. There's a difference. He was supposed to turn around and say 'no, it's okay'? And I always enjoy this notion of "destroying a legacy" that gets banded around about guys like Hogan and Flair. Something else that only ever gets mentioned by certain types on the internet. And who exactly did that Hogan/Sting match last night hurt? And that last bit about "old Hulk Hogan fans" might be the stupidest thing you've written so far.



Clearly that pop at around 15 minutes was just old Hogan fans and not actually every fucker in the building creating the loudest reaction of the entire show. Seriously, get a fucking clue and an opinion of your own.

What do you think creative control means? Hence the word "Control". He controlled every aspect of his character along with Bischoff. That means booking your own matches. And this is MY OWN GOD DAMN OPINION.. I was a huge TNA fan before he got there. When he was brought in they literally changed everything about the brand. Ring,name,colors,talent etc. It didnt work.And as much as people such as yourself shit on the TNA brand, I'm surprised that you defend him and that horrible match.One pop does not a good match make.

creative control means you can refuse to do things and have a leg to stand on whilst doing it. And yes, control over your character. Everything else was still booked for and around him, he just had the right to say no. Whos fault is that? Do you think Hogan came in and and one day said "yeah, let's use the Power Slam logo as the new TNA logo" or "yeah, let's go with IMPACT WRESTLING" and so forth? And you seem to think I've stated that Hogan/Sting was Cena/Punk from MITB or something. And I take back part of what I said in the last post, the last sentence if this post is the stupidest thing you've written in this thread.

The company, WCW, as a whole was shit. Hogan played a part in politics with various others, but he wasn't more responsible for their demise.

No Not at Starrcade.On the dvd they talk about how they beat down Berg after they rejoined the n.W.o. together,and that left no one to feud with and that killed the angle and any interest. I had always heard that because Hogan thought the wolfpac was more over, he wanted to be a part of it,and that cause the angle. I believe yes, Nash was booking.

No, horrible mismanagement, throwing money around and leaving Bischoff pretty much alone to run all of that and then trying to fix it by having Russo and Ferrara come in and try and recreate the WWF got the ball rolling but even from there they could and probably would have recovered seeing how they were getting their shit together at the end. Jamie Kellner and Time Warner put the nail in the coffin/made the company worthless to anybody but Vince. That's pretty much the be all and end all. But forget all that, definitely Hogan's fault.

My major point is that they brought him in to help the company and it seems to me like he has helped himself. I don't think his name recognition is enough anymore,and he should realize that.
