Well I think it was because Eden Stiles was leaving, so Chimel was moved to NXT and Superstars to take her place and Garcia was given Chimel's job on SmackDown.

Boy, would I love Kofi to win the MITB at Wrestlemania. Getting him over on the Miz, putting him in the Main Event now here...It seems like they MIGHT be thinking about a push.

Never knew why they de-pushed him. His attack on Orton at MSG was still one of the more over segments by a mid-carder I can remember in years.
