A lot of the magic attacks miss on slopes, too. And some even miss if there's cover even remotely near your target.

This is one of the reasons Mark of Flame owns and is probably broken. Ice Barrage and Storm Bolt (I think those are the names, ice and lightning attacks) are both much more prone to miss. MoF barely even needs line of sight.
