Nobody is faulting him for cashing in. He should. Nicks and Cruz drawing the majority of the coverage allowed him to put together an excellent postseason, and now he'll get paid #1 receiver money for it. I sure as shit know I'd take it.
The Bucs play the Giants in Metlife this year. Mario would have gotten a huge ovation during intros. But now he's probably going to get booed because he talked shit on the way out. It's just unfortunate that it had to end that way. |

They show old Giants highlight packages before the games and the fans always seem to boo anytime they show somebody who has talked down to the team after leaving, even if it was a great moment in Giants history (Plax' SB42 TD catch, for example). Fair or not, that's how the average NY fan operates.
