I don't think Rashad has what it takes to win. He'll come close, probably more than once, but I see Jones being able to change up and take control back pretty much anywhere the fight goes.

Rashad can put JBJ in all of those positions. Anderson silva, the greatest of all time, has his kryptonite. Jon jones has his too...and who better to expose it than his old sparring partner? |

On the countering, JBJ popped Rampage quite a few times off missed hooks, so we know he has some ability with it. Rashad is considerably faster than Rampage, so I figure for JBJ it'll be less about countering directly and more about mixing up offence in new ways to make it harder for Rashad to fight in close where he'd be in a much better position to do real damage. As for the rest of it, we'll see. It's true Rashad has inside knowledge on Bones due to being former camp mates, but it works both ways too. |
