Gonna learn from the past 2 years and NOT buy it on release day. Can usually pick it up for almost half price a month after release and I don't play games enough to justify the extra expense to make that release purchase.

This.

Create a story, and being able to edit downloade caws made 2011 a day one buy for me, but all the stupid little bullshit made me not play it after a few months.

WWE 12 has had more staying power, but it's no where near where it could be.

Some things I'd like to see:

More moves, and more wrestler specific animations, like there were in the past. The movesets in 12 are absolute shit. Maybe I'm just used to Firepro, but it feels like a lot of wrestlers have the same moves.

Full customization of Universe mode. I could make a whole wall of text on problems with universe mode, but the biggest flaw is the restrictions. There is no reason not to do this, other than to be dicks, and unlock a little bit more customization each year, so they don't have to be creative, and think of actual new ideas.

Bring back GM mode. Maybe even integrate it into universe mode.

Customization of the stage in create an arena.

Now that playing matches online is smoother, and there are more options, they should bring back create a belt.

Entrances for gimmick matches.

I would get rid of champion entrances, and just have the belt around their waist during their normal entrance. It is neat to see the champion entrances, and how they interact with the belt, but it ruins any caw's entrance that uses advanced creation. I've created some awesome, elaborate entrances in the past, but I've had to choose whether I want to see the entrance, or the wrestler come out with a belt. I don't know how everyone else feels about this.

BETTER FUCKING SERVERS FOR COMMUNITY CREATIONS


There are more things I'd like to see, those are just the ones off the top of my head.

Amazon actually had it for £25 the day it came out as part of the Black Friday sale.

I got my copy through that, if I hadnt I doubt I would have ever picked it up since I still have four entirely more interesting games still neglected in their shrink wrap.
