Their booking/angles/storylines are by no means perfect but this is by no means the worst case in recent history in TNA or WWE. Alas, too many people here are ready to rip into anything and everything that TNA does.

...because given their track record, this is going to end stupidly. The straightfoward way to play this is to eventually let AJ clear his name and prove Daniels is lying. Simple, but effective in the payoff. Daniels = heel = lying. AJ = face = telling the truth, even though you don't believe him right now. He goes through hell, then redeems himself.

However, "THIS IS TNA"... so, somehow, AJ and Dixie are going to turn heel, Daniels will remain heel and side with AJ, and Kazarian will fuck off and be forgotten from this entire angle. Then, Hogan will be revealed as "knowing this all along which is why he betrayed Dixie and wanted her gone" so that his Immortal heel turn was actually an unknown face turn and...

ugh...

my head hurts.

And that's best case scenario, which means the writers will likely come up with something more head-scratchingly convoluted before they dissolve the angle altogether.

I know that people bash TNA "for no good reason". Hell, I've got a love/hate relationship about that myself, but this is a good a reason as any.

I have heard this on the internets for a long time. I think it's a rumour that's been circulating around the IWC for many moons. Now they are just using it hopefully to put AJ Styles back in the main event picture. And as far as the storylines TNA and WWE think that us wrestling fans have about a month long attention span,so they don't care if the storylines match up sometimes. No one gave a shit about Daniels control over Kaz because no one gives a shit about Daniels anymore,unless its in ROH. So they tweaked it to peak interest. This could turn into a major angle if they don't fudge it up.

Remember he was the first ever triple crown ONLY grand slam champion ever in TNA? They fucked that up themselves with all the stupid making him Christian's bitch and Ric Flair 4.0 (behind David Flair and Charles Robinson, if you were wondering).

You've pretty much taken the words out of mouth. That's actually a big part of why when I recently gave TNA a trial (I think I watched the exact same episodes as Lock Jaw, or whoever was watching TNA at the time), they turned me off when they went from Kazarian being this interesting character who was being blackmailed by Daniels to being completely against AJ for no reason at all.

They did some interesting booking in a Handicap Gauntlet Match, actually. Styles challenged them to this because he is a babyface and meant to have more guts than brains. I thought they were going to go with Kazarian losing the first fall to Styles and then Daniels coming in and picking up the scraps like a good heel. That would have worked. What they actually did was have Daniels wrestle the first fall, and then Kazarian attacked Styles causing a DQ elimination for Daniels, which seemed to really bug Daniels. But then Kazarian won the match for himself and Daniels. So you can kind of see how Kazarian was throwing Daniels' plan away -- trying to hold onto whatever "manhood" he could in the situation -- but still achieved Daniels' goals for him.

Then TNA had Kazarian just sort of snap out of that interesting character and cut a promo essentially saying that he was jealous of AJ Styles. The "dirt" had essentially been dropped, and Kazarian was no longer "forced" to do Daniels' bidding, and was a heel by choice.

It actually turned me off TNA -- not because that angle was the only thing I was watching for -- but because it's nonsensical booking like that which completely ruins the illusion for me.

But I do hope that they go the fake photographs route with this, and Daniels is just playing games with Styles. Especially if it leads to Dixie Carter paying for a segment of TNA where a photograph authenticity expert comes in to talk to the Impact Zone. I'm a sadist like that.

I know he was the man and rightfully so. They have fucked up Styles creatively so much it almost hurts my brain to think about. That's why I keep hope,but him and Daniels need to be far away from one another for a long time. It's like Orton vs. cena good matches but no one cares anymore

AJ Styles would make a great opponent for Bobby Roode:

"The It-Factor of Professional Wrestling"

vs.

"Mr. TNA"

You just have King of the Mountain, or something, and have Styles beat Jeff Hardy, Rob Van Dam, Daniels and whoever else. Styles then faces Roode and goes over and becomes the top babyface in TNA again. Everybody is happy. You don't need some stupid bullshit angle like this.

Also, AJ Styles is currently scheduled to face Kurt Angle at Sacrifice. Daniels & Kazarian are challenging Joe & Magnus. Part of me likes the idea of feuds not being over even if they guys involved have moved on to proper opponents -- but it turns that stuff into filler the way TNA is going about it. Kurt Angle vs. AJ Styles should not be filler. It should be a Match of the Year candidate with its own story, trying to get people involved enough to get people to buy the event.

I will, however, be overjoyed if TNA gives a Three-Way Tag Team Match between Samoa Joe & Magnus, Daniels & Kazarian and Styles & Angle. It's that classic Three-Way only with more Kurt Angle. Kazarian and Magnus don't hurt the mix, either.

Would not be opposed to a AJ/Angle tag title run. Also their last man standing match a couple of years ago was the best match I've seen in TNA, except for the Joe/Daniels/AJ triple threat years ago. That's my point AJ vs Daniels has been done over and over.Bring back the curry man..or even Suicide and try that again.

Daniels is fine. As a heel, he is absolutely great. I expected his current angle to lead to Kazarian finally "manning up" and revealing his secret to the world and eliminating any leverage Daniels has over him, leading to Daniels vs. Kazarian on one of the PPVs. Could have been a feud to really get Frankie over.

That would be entirely sensible, but I sense TNA will put the belt on Jeff Hardy in the summer, who will then drop it to Bully Ray by autumn.
