It's hard to believe it's been 13 years now

RIP Owen Hart

ZosoMetalManiac does not have that much rep yet (10+)
I remember watching Over the Edge in 1999, and when Jim Ross said Owen Hart had died...it was completely surreal. I had just seen him cut a promo, then they said there was an accident, and then he was dead? What the fuck?

Whenever I think about it to this day, I get all teary-eyed. He was just so damn good as both a wrestler and a person, and it was over in an instant. It's just a damn shame, and I wish I could say something good came from it.

I'll never forget him though. He left behind a bunch of great matches and memories. I love that cage match between him and Bret so much. When he came back after Montreal, I had never cheered so much for one person.

I will always appreciate Owen Hart.
