You just can't get that from an isometric view hack and slash. It always feels underwhelming to me.

I like both. The best part of the X-Men Legends/Ultimate Alliance series is building the perfect team towards the end of the game. When you've built 4 guys and a few reserves up from scratch just the way you like, then put them into groups based on their combined abilities around the end of the second act of the game, you're so ridiculously unstoppable, you really do feel like you are heading up a super team of asskickers.
