I wouldn't say trailers and stills are as useless as reviews, because media helps you shape your own opinion going in.
Why have even minor anxiety about what people have to say? I've never been any more or less excited by good or bad reviews. I've liked badly reviewed movies (SW Eps. III), and hated good reviewed movies (The Notebook). Sometimes reviewers agree with me. But they're agreeing with me; I don't look for the other way around. This sort of thing makes reviews the overstated thing it is now. |
