Sting. May not like his more recent work, but in WCW he had some seriously awesome times.

Easy easy easy easy.
Never a huge fan of blonder surfer Sting, but I wasn't a big fan of 80's cartoony wrestling in general. Watching him morph into Crow sting was so perfectly executed. Nobody trusts The Stinger. |

Sting.
Huge respect for Kane, and that picture of him is fucking awesome, but none-the-less Sting is one of my all-time faves. Was a HUGE mark for him in the 90's and WCW. He's obviously past his prime, but he's still going strong today, and does a good job of evolving his character. He'll never reach "that level" because he never went to the WWE, and like it or not, if you haven't appeared in the WWE or a Wrestlemania, then you're just not on "that level". But he is still one of the industries "elite". |

I think him not going to WWE is what makes him unique. He is one of the biggest stars in wrestling history despite the fact he never was in WWE. Always liked how he remained loyal to WCW. He is my favorite wrestler of all time and somebody that I have a ton of respect for as a human being as well.

Oh snap.
I was never a fan of Sting. Growing up a WWF fan I never cared for him. Sort of got into it when he was black and white, but then they screwed it up by having him be out of shape with ring rust. Wolfpack Sting just screamed gay ripoff of Kane to me. Remaining loyal to a company that shows you no respect and pushes you aside so many times for the flavor of the month isn't really something to be commended. It's something that makes you question whether or not Sting really could handle being the man. I don't think he could. |

If Sting ever competed in WWE, I don't see how this would ever be a contest, but Kane will get some votes..... just not from me......

Stings for the 'crow' angle alone, shame about the match with Hogan.

Yeah the crow storyline is probably the best wrestling story ever.

Kane was great for a big man but love the Crow gimmick even if the pay off match with Hogan wasn't great, only thing Kane has over Sting IMO opinion is that Sting sucks as a heel.

Sting.
In terms of wrestling skills, Sting is a bit better overall while his work in WCW was better overall than Kane's Attitude and Post-Attitude Era periods. Also arguably one of the best wrestlers to never have worked in the WWF/WWE and not be considered as a huge disadvantage career-wise. Felt that Sting's Crow gimmick was better than any individual gimmick Kane had but Kane's ability to play a monster heel perfectly when needed benefited him a lot for longevity. |

Loved the "just chillin' in the rafters, waiting for the perfect moment" segments when I was a child. One of very few reasons I watched WCW.

If this is stopping at 16 wrestlers, then in my opinion the final guy needs to be either Sting or Triple H. Or we can just take out Taz and put them both in.

Oh, Flair's not even in there yet. I guess he'll get it, although I'd personally prefer either Triple H or Sting over him.

Gonna go with Kane here...Sting's recent work in WCW 2.0 (please see TNA) has leveled the playing field somewhat...not enough for most to vote for Kane obviously, but how can I possibly vote against a guy who's never gotten into trouble with WWE and who goes out, does his fucking job and leaves like every wrestler should.
Plus, he was pretty fucking epic in those 3 months on SD! as world champion when he'd come out for his nightly promos...EXAMPLE: Also, Stinger does himself no favors in my book by shitting on WWE every time someone asks him if he'll sign with them. Once was enough. After that, a simple "No." would suffice. |

I didn't think that The Crow angle was all that great. He just sat up in the rafters and did dick all. I'm still going to vote for Sting, but I really don't get all the hype around that.

It was a great angle, but it's not like they've couldn't have had anyone doing it. I voted Sting, but honestly I've never been that impressed with anything he's done.
