Nets resign Deron Williams with a 5 year, $98 million deal. If they barely had the money for Howard before, they definitely don't now unless they really gut the team badly just to come up with some minimum money for Howard. I think between Johnson and Williams, they eat up over 75% of the cap assuming its in the $61 million range next season. Already used up their smaller mid-level cap exception on Johnson with the Hawks deal.

Dallas preparing to go after Nash a lot harder than before since Williams is gone and even have plans to get Jeremy Lin if the Knicks hesitate too long.

Celtics rumored to be close to a deal with Mavs free agent Jason Terry while the Mavs admit they can't match any offers he receives. He would replace Ray Allen if Allen does leave.
