Between last offseason and this one so far, Dallas probably won't be a title contender anytime soon or at least provide Dirk with the help he needs like during their title season.

Clippers drop their interest in Ray Allen and instead resign Chancey Billups while signing Jamal Crawford. Chris Paul did lobby for Allen but the Clips declined at the last moment.

Speaking of Ray Allen, ESPN is saying its now between Miami and Boston for his sweepstakes with everyone else beginning to drop or not doing enough to sway him. Miami can only offer him $3 million but with the promise of being their 6th man and a chance at a ring while Boston can easily double his salary and make the same claims. Boston also has the benefit of Ray's mom stating before she really loves the area and would like to stay.

Magic resigned Jameer Nelson but wasn't revealed the amount or years in the new deal.

At one point I was hustling for the ball with one of their players when he went down like he'd been shot.
