I'm just happy that after watching the Pirates for almost 23 years, it's finally paying off. Granted if they did win a World Series, they'd likely do what the Marlins did after they won their first World Series and pretty much trade away every decent player they've got for much shittier guys.

Red Sox pitching continues to be the biggest problem this season and last 1-2 years overall. Beckett is basically useless as a starter now although won't be surprised if he goes on the DL again as an excuse.

The hitting goes back to normal after the poor road trip but the pitching still stays horrible.
