Wow, Pettitte goes 5 strong and gets pulled after 75 pitches. Girardi then uses 6 arms for the other 4 innings? Who's available for the nightcap tonight? |

Dice-K has been horrendous the last 2 years against the Rays. He's averaging something close to 1 run per inning against them. I think even most of his shortest outings in the same period was against them as well. Its at the point where Lackey who posted the worst ever stats for a Red Sox pitcher last year is seen as a huge upgrade over Dice-K and Lackey sucks a lot. |

10-3. This offense is so frustrating. They'll have a couple good games and then go to sleep for a week. |

There was never any doubt in my mind that the Mets would blow this game. Matt Harvey - enjoy never getting any run support in Queens. Seeya next year. |

Pretty stupid of Selig to allow him to stay in the batting title race considering he would have won it while being suspended from cheating. Probably lucky for Selig that Cabrera doesn't have that extra HR or else he'd be dealing with a bigger shit storm over the Triple Crown streak ending due to tainted reasons. He wouldn't even need to worry about messing with the records books like with past incidents that occurred years ago since this potential record won't be official until after the season ends. |

It's kinda shocking that Cabrera might win the Triple Crown and yet the majority of writers have said that Trout should win. Nothing against Trout, what he's doing as a 20 year old is incredible. But it's the fucking TRIPLE CROWN! |
