Some people are taking this Triple Crown thing a little too lightly. Think of all the players that made their debut and retired, and all those who had Hall of Fame careers from 1967 until now. And none of them were able to win a Triple Crown.

Not Pete Rose, not Reggie Jackson, not Dave Winfield, not Mike Schmidt, not Dave Winfield, not Barry Bonds, not Rickey Henderson, not Cal Ripken Jr, not Tony Gwynn, not Ken Griffey Jr, not to mention hundreds of others.

This is a big deal, people. Think of all the players we saw debut, the players we saw have great careers, the players we saw either make the HOF and those who had HOF careers and are in waiting.
