I think they have gone about this Slater/McIntyre/Mahal thing backwards. If anything, they should be moving away from the silliness and should be wanting to get noticed as rising stars. Slater shouldn't change his personality entirely, of course, since his current one is so great -- but keep Mahal and McIntyre as silent killers by his side.

Watched New Japan Pro Wrestling's first iPPV. Money well spent. The best all around ppv I've seen since Summerslam 02'.

Been watching current NJPW matches lately, but this is the first full even I've tuned in for. I'll go on record as saying that right now, as far as the in-ring aspect goes, NJPW has the best product in the world.

So it doesn't look like Cena will be ready for Hell in a Cell. Worried that they're gonna fuck up Punk vs Ryback.

Ideally, I'd have Vince make it a triple threat anyway while everyone keeps dropping hints that Cena isn't heeled and shouldn't go. Then pretty much as soon as the match starts Cena takes a safe bump head first into the cell and sells the injury outside the ring. All the while Ryback and Punk are going at it with Punk getting his ass beat but every once in a while using his brain to get a momentary upper hand. Cena gets back up on the apron only to get knocked back into the cell and sell the injury for a while again.

EMTs enter the cage to take Cena away but he comes to and refuses to leave the match while Punk and Ryback go at it. Suddenly through the cell door that was opened for the EMTs to come through, Brock Lesnar runs through the crowd and enters the cell. Ryback turns to him and he stops in his tracks and they just stare each other down while behind Ryback CM Punk pulls the EMTs away and kicks a recovering Cena in the back of the head and gets the pin before running out of the cell, grabbing his title and getting out of town as Ryback realizes what has happened and Lesnar steps out of the ring too, laughing as he backs down the aisle staring at Ryback as the show ends.

Everyone still looks good, Punk retains, Ryback doesn't lose the slightest bit of momentum and Cena shows "heart" while not really risking further injury by getting involved too much.
